G’day! I’m the Fukuoka Prefectural Education Centre PA. My work involves participating in seminars for training Japanese Teachers of English, developing and delivering English classes for teacher-training purposes, researching and evaluating language teaching methodologies and educating schools on how to integrate language learning into their curricula.

I have access to a huge array of English and cultural activities and training materials, so I’m a good contact for any classroom-related enquiries. Aside from that, I’m also here to offer support and advice on work, life, health, play or anything else that Japanese life may throw at you.

I spent my first two JET years as an ALT in a countryside pocket somewhere off the map in the north-east corner of Fukuoka prefecture. Prior to this, I was blessed to grow up on the Gold Coast, Australia and spent a few years working in communications before joining JET.
