Prefectural Advisors (PA)

There are six Prefectural Advisors in Fukuoka Prefecture here to provide support and counseling to JET participants and the various Contracting Organizations. Though PAs are not trained counselors they have had training from professionals and can provide support if the need arises. They can also provide information on teaching materials and life in Japan as well as act as mediators to promote understanding between JET participants and Contracting Organizations. If you have questions or concerns about your work, your contract or life in general while you are here in Japan they are one of the first people you should contact for support.

This year’s team of PAs come from a variety of backgrounds and experience and are committed to supporting JETs and fostering a sense of community among participants within Fukuoka.  Click the following links to see each PA’s profile.
