English-language newspapers are sold at bookstores and major hotels. You can browse foreign publications for free at Kokusai Hiroba, the Fukuoka City Public Library and Rainbow Plaza. Authentic English-language materials add spice to classroom activities and English Club sessions. Get a hold of your English department and/or club budget and see if your school will authorize a subscription.

Fukuoka Now Free - A multi-lingual monthly magazine distributed to businesses all over Fukuoka City. It features news, events, restaurant/club reviews, personals and pictures of people you may know.
